Fredericksburg has held a special place in my heart since childhood. I dreamt of building a life here. In 2005, I began my professional career in finance and purchased my first home in this beautiful community and I have continued building the life I dreamed of all those years ago.

For the last 20 years I’ve served the community and advanced my career, gaining critical expertise in finance in the private and non-profit sectors. I worked hard and purchased a second property but maintained my commitment to investing in this community and turned my first home into an investment . I am committed to service and have regularly volunteered for various charities, church and community outreach programs, the PTA, and the city’s cold weather shelter.

Outside of my professional and civic involvement, I cherish time spent with family and friends. We are an active family, enjoy the outdoors, hiking, boating, trying new restaurants, and exploring all that Virginia’s rich history has to offer. As much as we enjoy being out and about, we also cherish our time together at home, working on projects and in the garden.

These combined experiences and personal values have allowed me to build strong relationships within our community and I am eager to bring my passion, experience, and commitment to the role of City Treasurer.
